Cruise cover is included automatically with our international policies, but is not included in our domestic policies. If you're going on a cruise and will be cruising in New Zealand waters, you can select 'Cruising New Zealand' in our quote engine. You'll receive all the benefits of our international policies, including medical expenses while onboard and medical evacuation.
You must also tell us every country or region the ship will visit. Even if the cruise ship is just stopping at a port for a few hours, you must list that country on your policy. If you neglect to do so you may not be covered for all the countries you are visiting.
